JIANG Wen received the B.S. degree from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, Gansu, in 1990, and M.S. degree from Sichuan University, Chengdu, Sichuan, in 1993, both in Computer Science. Now he is pursuing the Ph.D degree in the Information Engineering Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His current research focus is on lossless and loss image compression, especially on VQ Index coding. He is a student member of IEEE.
