Below is a brief list of research topics from those that I have enjoyed pursuing along with Dr. Len Bruton and the Multi-Dimensional Signal Processing (MDDSP) Research Group.

Linear-trajectory filtering.

Simple 3-D recursive filter algorithms used to enhance objects moving with uniform speed and direction in digital image sequences.

Object-tracking and enhancement.

The above 3-D recursive linear-trajectory filters used in an adaptive system to track and enhance moving objects moving on smooth, but nonlinear trajectories.

Analog linear-trajectory filter implementations.

Investigation of analog RC-active filter structures to perform linear-trajectory filtering.

Fractal landscape generation.

Using spatially-variant 2-D recursive filtering techniques to generate realistic fractal landscapes.
